Grumman Serial Number 721 and Dutch Royal
Navy/MLD Number 160. This Tracker would have operated off of the Dutch
aircraft Carrier Hr.Ms.Karel Doorman from 1960-1968, after which it was
land based until being taken out of service in 1976. In 1972 it
was converted to a target tug and was re-designated US-2N. The
photos below from the Luftahrtmuseum are very revealing. Note the
target on station under the wing and also cutaway of the fuselage with
the crew stations. This is configured vastly different than the
original as the Numbers 3 and 4 stations faced forward.
